How a Bilge Pump Works
Non-automatic bilge pumps operate using a float or panel switch. The removable motor cartridge allows for easy cleaning of the strainer and impeller when clogged with debris. They are designed to sit at the lowest point of the bilge and only require a discharge pipe and power supply.
