While the production continues to operate at a high speed, the regional development of the machinery industry is relatively balanced. From January to June, the total industrial output value of the petrochemical general machinery industry increased by 32.91% year-on-year, and total profit increased by 39.5%. In the second half of this year, it is expected that the growth rate of the machinery industry will decline, and the production and sales are expected to increase by about 25% from the first half of the year.
At the same time as high-speed growth, unfavorable factors and potential crises faced by the industry should be taken seriously. In particular, the momentum of extensional growth, low-level repeated expansion of production capacity, and blind expansion is worthy of caution. At present, the machinery industry is facing the unfavorable factors of rising production costs and shortage of some raw materials, the state encouraging the import of advanced machinery and equipment, and the growth of orders to fall below the total output value. Cai Weici pointed out that compared with the total amount of growth, the industry should focus more on structural adjustment and improvement of efficiency. It is necessary to actively develop high value-added, energy-efficient equipment and encourage companies to invest in key process links and R&D links.
