【Instrument Development of China Instrument Network】 In May 2016, the application for acceptance of the “Development and Industrialization of Multi-Functional Ion Chromatography” of the national major scientific instrument research and development project marked the successful conclusion of the project and also marked the development of the multifunctional ion chromatograph. Completed and successfully achieved localization, which has become a typical case of high-end equipment “Made in China”.

It is understood that this project was led by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Technology Development Center of Qingdao, Shandong Province, and was approved in December 2012 as a national special scientific equipment development project. The special project adopts the joint management and organizational management model. There are 9 sub-tasks involving 8 production, research, and research cooperation units.

On April 17, 2013, the project of "Development and Industrialization of Multi-functional Ion Chromatographs" was officially launched. The launch ceremony was held at the Science and Technology Center of Shandong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Wang Yuewei, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, AQSIQ, and Yao Zehua, Researcher, Dang Antao, Division of Basic Conditions, Department of Science and Technology, Shandong Province; Jiao Yu, Director, Condition Finance Department, Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology; Deputy Director, Shandong Inspection and Quarantine Bureau; More than 50 people from Guangjiang and experts participated in the launch event.

The development of new products and their application methods for multi-functional ion chromatographs addresses the need for traceability of environmental, drinking water, atmospheric, acid rain, and soil pollutants, as well as detection requirements in areas such as earthquakes, food and drug contamination, and water quality pollution. Various needs in important areas such as food, disease control, and quality inspection have a strong supporting role in improving technology and improving people's livelihood. Among them, the developed ion chromatograph has been successfully marketed to the fields of resource and environment, biology and medicine, hydrogeology, third-party testing, disease control, and biomedicine. Through numerous applications and practices of customers, the company has gained industry recognition and appreciation. At the same time, it has also played a leading role in the economic revitalization of China's high-end instrumentation areas, and has improved the industrial technology level and core competitiveness of ion chromatography equipment in China.

The results of this project have been applied and served in a number of national and provincial science and technology plans and projects, including: National Rural Drinking Water Safety Project, Yunnan Earthquake Safety Engineering (Strengthening of Strong Earthquake Response and Disposal Capacity), and Three-tier Environmental Monitoring Station Capacity Building Engineering, basin water environment monitoring, etc.

The project has successfully promoted the development of high-tech industries in the peninsula blue economic zone and led Qingdao to formulate a series of detailed industrial development strategies. The research and development of the project has successfully achieved various modes of innovation such as policy guidance, industrial support, and development funds. It has successfully created a model of international advanced and domestic benchmarking high-end equipment manufacturing industry, and promoted the upgrading of industrial industries. The level of Chinese manufacturing has great practical significance and strategic significance.
