Recently, Anhui Longsheng Chemical Company invested 8 million yuan to build a new 1200-mm-diameter methanol production facility to expand the company's methanol production scale.
The new device is designed by Hubei Zhengyuan Design Institute. The key equipment includes a methanol synthesis tower, an oil separator, an alcohol separator and a heat exchanger, etc. All domestic equipment will be used. It is understood that these ordering equipment is expected to be in place by mid-July, and equipment installation and piping will be fully implemented in early August, and the entire unit will be completed and put into operation by the end of August. At that time, Longsheng crude methanol production capacity will increase from 10,000 tons/year to 30,000 tons/year. At the same time, the new plant can achieve 10% savings in water consumption per ton of methanol through the use of recycled cooling water technology and zero-emission technology for wastewater from the production process.
