Apartment fire in Evanston, 8-20-19

Excerpts from the ChicagoTribune.com:

In a remarkable rescue operation, two cats and two dogs were saved from an apartment fire in Evanston on Tuesday night. Firefighters swiftly contained the blaze, which was limited to a rear, first-floor unit of a four-story multi-family courtyard building located on the 600 block of Sheridan Road. During a secondary search of the building, firefighters discovered four pets—three of which required immediate resuscitation using pet oxygen masks. All animals made a full recovery, and no human injuries were reported.
