The **Spiral Chute** is a gravity separation device widely used in the mining industry. **Working Principle:**
The spiral chute operates under the combined forces of water flow, gravity, centrifugal force, and friction. Slurry is fed into the top of the spiral, where it is evenly distributed through a feed distributor to each spiral concentrator. As the slurry moves along the spiral path, mineral particles settle and begin to separate based on size, density, and to some extent, shape. Lighter particles are carried outward by the water flow, while heavier particles move toward the inner edge of the spiral, allowing for efficient concentration.
