Metal tube floater flowmeter is all-metal structure, suitable for high temperature, high pressure and strong corrosive medium, can be used in flammable, explosive dangerous occasions. Therefore, its installation is very important. Here we will take a look at its installation requirements.

1. Remove the filling after the flowmeter is opened and checked without errors. The flowmeter should be installed vertically on the vibration-free pipe. If it is to be installed horizontally, it should be specified when ordering. The angle between the centerline of the flowmeter and the plumb line shall not exceed 5°.

2. New pipelines should be flushed with new pipelines before the installation of metal tube float flowmeters. If the measured medium contains particulate impurities or air bubbles, filter devices or exhaust ports should be installed upstream of the flowmeter. Flow up, if the fluid flows from top to bottom, the flow meter will not work. If the measured medium is a pulsating flow, appropriate size buffer devices such as surge tanks should be installed downstream to eliminate pulsation.

3, in order to facilitate the inspection of the flowmeter zero point and disassembly repair and commissioning, stop valve and bypass valve should be installed upstream and downstream of the flowmeter.

4. Once the meter is installed according to the regulations, the flowmeter upper and downstream stop valves shall be closed first, and then the instrument shall be checked with the secondary instrument wiring. After the error is correct, the instantaneous flow shall be displayed as zero when the secondary instrument power is turned on. If you want to use it normally, you should first open the upstream valve is fully open, with the metal tube float flowmeter downstream regulator valve from small to large slowly adjust the flow, then the instantaneous flow should be changed. When you stop working, you should close the upstream valve first, and then close the downstream regulator valve.
