Production Line:
Introduction to ATS Two-Stage Compounding Line
To produce PVC cable materials, we typically use the ATS two-stage compounding line. This system consists of an ATE twin-screw extruder, an ASE single-screw extruder, and a downstream pelletizing system. The first stage is responsible for polymer compounding, while the second stage extrudes the compounds at lower temperatures and shear levels, followed by pelletizing via the downstream cutting system.
Pelletizing System Overview
The ATS compounding line can be equipped with multiple cutting systems. Thanks to its modular design, both instrument control and PLC control options are available for the electrical system. Key electrical components are sourced from European brands to ensure reliable and stable performance.
For PVC cable materials, the air-cooled die-face hot cutting system is commonly used. It offers the advantage of combining the high-speed, strong-compounding capabilities of the twin-screw extruder with the low-speed, low-temperature, and weak-shear characteristics of the single-screw extruder. This makes it ideal for heat-sensitive or shear-sensitive materials.
