On August 28, the founding conference of the Jiangsu Coatings Industry Association was held in Nanjing. The meeting was chaired by Ding Zhi, Director of the Preparatory Committee of the Jiangsu Paint Industry Association. The first session of the council was born and the first meeting was held. Zhang Junzhi, President of CNOOC Changzhou Coating Chemicals Research Institute, Ji Wei, Chairman of Suzhou Jiren Paint Industry, Sun Jianping, Chairman and General Manager of Wuxi Paint Factory, and Changzhou Guanghui Xu Jiangang, chairman and general manager of Chemical Industry, and Yao Hengping, vice chairman of Jiangsu Taibai Group, were elected as vice chairman and Zhang Ruqin was elected as secretary general.
