As the main supplier of oil products in China, Sinopec will fully provide national standard 3 and above car gasoline in advance.
According to relevant personages in the Sinopec Refining Business Division, it is expected that in the third quarter, refinery companies such as Gaoqiao Petrochemical, Shanghai Petrochemical, Guangzhou Petrochemical, Jinling Petrochemical, and Wuhan Petrochemical will take the lead in completing the state 3 standard gasoline upgrade. Before the end of the year, refineries located in central cities and major consumer markets will fully provide standard vehicle gasoline of China 3 and above.
It is understood that starting from the introduction of lead-free gasoline in 1997, Sinopec opened the prelude to the upgrading of oil quality. In only 10 years, it took the oil quality upgrade path that developed countries in Europe and America had passed for 20 to 30 years. At present, Sinopec not only possesses its own technology for the production of national 3, 4 standard oil products, but also reserves a number of key technologies that meet the Euro 5 standard.
