Design of the inlet pipe section (1) The inlet pipe from the inlet filter to the compressor must be clean and free from rust. Therefore, stainless steel slotted steel pipe was selected as the inlet pipe. (2) Select the size of the stainless steel tube to minimize the pressure drop. According to the site conditions of the plant and equipment, minimize the length of the entrance and reduce the number of elbows. It is recommended to use the ratio of inlet pipe diameter to compressor inlet pipe diameter: D1/D2 ≥ 2 (the value of our factory is 2). The inlet pipe of the press is recommended to be connected to the inlet flange of the compressor by a large and small pipe fitting. The length L1 of the pipe is selected according to the standard. The long-length elbow is used, and the length of the straight pipe between the elbow and the flange of the large and small pipe fittings is L2, L2/D1≥4 (the value of our factory is 4).

(3) In view of the damage of the inlet filter in some enterprises, it is sucked into the compressor, causing damage to the first-stage impeller of the compressor. (4) A condensate valve is added at the low point of the horizontal piping. The inlet filter should be placed outside the compressor building, at least 4m above the ground, at least 2m from the wall or roof.
