What are the purposes and methods of rock mine identification?

Solid microscope (binoculars) → amplification

2 Microscope identification of polarized light microscope → Observable mineral polarization properties (only observe transparent minerals)

Reflective microscope → observe opaque minerals

3 other special methods: thermal analysis, X-ray diffraction analysis, electron microscopy, polarography, electrodialysis, laser microspectroscopy, ion probe, electron probe, infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance Spectrum, Mossbauer spectrum.
