Jiangsu fully promotes air-source heat pump grain drying technology

Recently, Taizhou Power Supply Co., Ltd. of Jiangsu State Grid Electric Power Co., Ltd. has begun research and development of the air-source heat pump food and electric drying green energy application program to begin full promotion. The total investment of the project is 400,000 yuan. Three sets of food and electric drying equipments are newly built to replace the existing old coal-fired and fuel-burning equipment, thus saving energy and protecting the environment and improving work efficiency.

The first comprehensive air-to-energy heat pump food drying technology in Jiangsu Province will be held in Liangxu Town Tangjia Tang, Jiangyan District, Taizhou, as a comprehensive agricultural service cooperative. State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company Taizhou Power Supply Company research and development of air-source heat pump food and electric drying green energy program began to be fully promoted in Jiangsu Province.

The air source heat pump grain drying technology is a new type of grain drying technology jointly researched and developed by Jiangsu State Taizhou Power Supply Company and State Grid Jiangsu Power Energy Conservation Service Co., Ltd. It is a personalized green energy use plan developed for the local professional grain drying center. . The project will build 3 sets of food and electric drying equipment, with a total electric power of 120 kilowatts, to replace the existing coal-fired grain drying equipment. The total investment of the project is 400,000 yuan.

According to reports, the Tangjiatang District of Taizhou Jiangyan District, where the project is located, is an agricultural comprehensive service cooperative with annual drying capacity of 4,000 tons of grain, 6 sets of original coal-fired grain drying equipment, and annual consumption of 350 tons of coal. After the new project is completed and put into production, it can reduce 223 tons of carbon dioxide and 6 tons of sulfur dioxide each year.

As the first air-source heat pump grain drying demonstration site in Jiangsu Province, the completion of the project will drive the newly-built grain drying center to actively adopt air-source heat pump drying units to replace the existing coal-fired, fuel-oil, etc. Equipment produces good economic, social and environmental effects.
