This report comes from Asher Heimermann:
Out of the two million people who gathered for the Blackhawks celebration, the Chicago Fire Department treated 41 patients—mostly due to heat-related issues—on or near the parade route, according to CFD Media Affairs.
The medical support was well-organized. A dedicated medical bus, number 8-8-12, was stationed at Michigan and Adams Streets, while fire engines were positioned along Michigan Avenue and Congress Plaza. Paramedics used a variety of transportation methods, including bicycles and UTVs, to efficiently reach those in need.

It's clear that the city was prepared for any emergency, especially with such a massive crowd. The use of bikes and ATVs allowed paramedics to navigate through the dense areas more easily than traditional vehicles. The medical bus served as a central hub, ensuring quick response times. As temperatures soared during the event, the Fire Department’s efforts played a crucial role in keeping attendees safe and healthy.
