SKF Appoints Senior Vice President, Group Human Resources and Operational Excellence

The SKF Group announced on November 29 the appointment of Kent Viitanen as the new senior vice president of human resources and operational excellence for the new group, effective January 1, 2014.

Kent Viitanen will succeed Eva Hansdotter next year as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Operational Excellence at SKF Group, who will leave SKF as Director of Human Resources at Stena Rederi AB.

After taking up his new position, Kent Viitanen will report to SKF President and CEO Tom Johnstone and will also be a member of the SKF Group management.

Kent Viitanen joined SKF in 1988 and currently holds the position of Director of Renewable Energy Business. He previously held various leadership positions in the manufacturing and human resources businesses worldwide.

4. Compared with the resistance heating, the heating speed of the electromagnetic heater is fast, and the production efficiency is improved, so that the motor is in a saturated state, which reduces the power consumption caused by high power and low demand.
