The reporter learned from Qingdao University of Science and Technology that the world's first 10,000-ton trans-isoprene (tpi) industrialized production facility was put into production in Qingdao. The device fills the gap of the world's trans-isoprene 10,000-ton industrial production facility and provides new high-quality raw materials for green tires .
The device was constructed and put into operation by Qingdao Dipnew Material Co., Ltd. using the new technology independently researched and developed by Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and qualified trans-isoprene products were produced.
According to reports, trans isoprene rubber is also known as synthetic gutta percha, which combines the characteristics of rubber and plastic. With low rolling resistance, low heat generation, and good wear resistance and fatigue resistance, it is a good material for manufacturing high-performance energy-saving and environmentally-friendly long-life tires, high-speed trains, and automobile shock-absorbing products. Trans isoprenoids can also be used as shape memory functional materials when the crosslink density is low.
It is reported that the two trans-isoprene rubber production lines put into operation this time have a total annual capacity of 15,000 tons.
