The leading domestic product of Nanyang Fine Wax Factory's multi-products has reached the point at which it is not currently available.

On January 5th, a batch of specialized chewing gum wax produced by the Nanyang Paraffin Fine Chemical Factory under Henan Oilfield was shipped from Tianjin Port to Denmark. This shipment marks the beginning of the company’s annual supply of 3,000 tons of chewing gum wax to a Danish client. It also represents the first large-scale export of food-grade microcrystalline wax from Sinopec refining companies into the European market. Last year, the factory achieved sales revenue exceeding 500 million yuan from its specialty products, including various types of waxes. Currently, two German and Dutch companies are in active discussions with the Nanyang Fine Wax Factory regarding the export of microcrystalline wax. Notably, Feide Chemical Company in Germany plans to use the factory’s products to manufacture chassis waxes for Volkswagen and BMW. In recent years, leveraging the high wax content in crude oil from Henan Oilfield, the factory has transitioned from producing fuel-based products to developing high-value-added fine chemicals such as wax series products, lubricants, and polypropylene. The factory has successfully developed 22 categories of products, launching 38 new brands. Its output and range of microcrystalline wax and specialty waxes now lead the country. To date, the factory's wax products have been exported to nearly 30 countries worldwide. The newly developed No. 90 microcrystalline wax is the only one of its kind in China. The emulsion explosive wax not only holds the top position in production and sales within the country but is also popular in Southeast Asian markets. The phase change wax series has filled a domestic gap and will be used in the construction of venues for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Additionally, recently launched rubber protective wax and precision casting wax have attracted significant customer interest. The unique properties of the paraffin fine chemical products have led to continuous growth in the factory’s economic benefits. High-value-added products have driven a sharp increase in sales revenue, with some products now facing a situation where demand exceeds supply.
