Chicago working fire, 11-19-16

Here's a message from Larry Shapiro:

Some photos from a working fire that took place on Saturday morning, November 19th, 2016, at 2310 W. Jackson Boulevard. By the time I arrived, the fire was already under control. It looks like there had been a small fire on the roof, and I heard that roofers were reportedly working on the building earlier that day. One firefighter was taken to the hospital by Ambulance 44 due to an injury sustained during the incident.

These images capture the scene shortly after the fire was extinguished. You can see multiple units from the Chicago Fire Department on the scene, including Engine 26, Engine 104, and Tower Ladder 5. Ambulance 44 is also visible, likely having just transported the injured firefighter. The presence of these units suggests a coordinated response to what was initially a small but potentially dangerous rooftop fire. As always, the firefighters worked quickly and efficiently to contain the situation and ensure public safety.
