Chicago working fire, 11-19-16

Here's a message from Larry Shapiro:

Some photos from a working fire that took place early Saturday morning (11/19/16) at 2310 W. Jackson Boulevard. By the time I arrived, the fire had already been extinguished. It seems there was a small blaze on the roof, and I heard that roofers had been working on the building earlier that day. One firefighter was taken to the hospital by Ambulance 44 due to an injury sustained during the incident.

These images capture the scene after the fire was under control. The crews were quick to respond, and it’s clear they worked efficiently to contain the situation. It’s always good to see the Chicago Fire Department in action, especially when they’re able to prevent a small fire from becoming something much worse. If you're interested in more updates or additional photos, feel free to check back later this week.
