Large-scale installation of industrial hazardous waste incineration in Shanghai

China's largest industrial hazardous waste incineration treatment facility in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park was officially put into operation on the 18th, mainly providing hazardous waste treatment services for enterprises in the chemical industry and industrial enterprises in other parts of Shanghai.

This large incinerator is operated by Taiko Shengda Waste Treatment Company of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. The company was founded by the French environmental giant Suez Group and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park and New World Development Corporation with a total investment of 53 million euros. It is the only unit in Shanghai that has obtained the hazardous waste business license issued by the State Environmental Protection Administration.

This large-scale incinerator has a processing capacity of 60,000 tons per year. It can handle different types of waste such as polluted oil, chemical residues, waste solvents, sewage, etc. Its exhaust emission and disposal level meets EU standards, while reducing pollution. It is also necessary to carry out regeneration and recycling.

At present, customers of this installation include internationally renowned industrial companies such as BASF, Bayer and Degussa, and the final annual sales revenue is expected to reach 20 million Euros.
