Recently, the Wuhan Branch of the China Classification Society conducted an on-site inspection of the YB2 marine three-phase asynchronous motors submitted for evaluation by Nanyang Explosion Protection Company. Following a two-day thorough examination, the test results confirmed that the performance of the batch of marine motors met or exceeded the requirements set by marine-specific standards. Additionally, the appearance of the motors complied with international quality expectations, and the inspection was successfully completed.
The batch included 46 motors across five different specifications, marking the company's first large-scale inspection of marine motors. Due to the unique technical demands of these motors, there were numerous external testing procedures, a tight delivery schedule, and complex quality control challenges. Two of the motor models required testing at the National Explosion-Proof Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center to obtain the necessary explosion-proof certification for maritime use. To ensure timely delivery and successful expert review, all relevant personnel strictly followed the required procedures and maintained high standards throughout the process.
During the field inspection, close collaboration among the Technical Center, Manufacturing Department, Sales Company, and the Small Workshop ensured the smooth progress of the project. As a result, the company’s first batch of marine motors successfully passed the expert inspection by the Wuhan Branch of the China Classification Society and received the marine motor quality certificate, marking a significant milestone in the company’s development in the marine equipment sector.
