Here's a quick update on Northfield Fire Department’s newest addition: a 2013 E-One E-Max fire truck mounted on a Typhoon chassis. The unit is equipped with a 1,500-gallon water tank, a 750-gallon foam system, a 10-inch master stream, and a 20-inch rear-mount ladder. It's expected to be officially put into service this week.
Bill captured some great photos of the new engine, which will be known as Squad 29. The first image shows the truck in its full glory, while the second highlights the eye-catching graphics. A third shot gives a closer look at the vehicle’s design and structure.
It's always exciting to see new equipment roll in, and this one looks like it's going to serve the community well for years to come.
